The Karnataka PUC supplemental results have been declared by 26, July 2018 PUC Examination Board which are available on official websites – pue.kar.nic.in and http://karresults.nic.in. Total pass percentage has improved since last year. The results were 26.34 percent in 2017 while 28.3 percent of students passed the exams this year.

According to the Pre-University Examination Board, the evaluation process was completed on 18th July 2018 and the result compilation was almost over. PUC supplementary examinations started on 29th June and ended on 10th July 2018.

The results of the second PUC were announced on April 30. The total pass percentage this year was 59.56%. Of the total students passed, 52.30 percent were boys and 67.1 percent were girls. Nearly 67.48 percent for science stream, 63.64 for commerce and 45.13 for art. 66.06% Students who passed the examination in English medium, the pass percentage of those appearing in Kannada medium was 51.46. Meanwhile, the result of the Karnataka SSC Supplementary Examination was announced by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) on July 19, 2018.

About Karnataka PUC Exam:-

Every year 7 to 10 lakh students enroll in the 2-year pre-university course (PUC) introduced by the Karnataka Government. Courses offered by the department are broadly classified under the categories of humanities (arts), science and commerce. There are 23 topics, 11 languages and 50 combinations in the pre-university course.

Girls are now able to dominate in this supplementary exam also:-

There were fewer girls who appeared for this PUC supplementary exams but the pass percentage was more than the boys. Out of 91,663 girls who appeared in the examination, 28,601 passed, whereas out of 1,33,216 boys only 35,051 passed the supplementary exams. It means 31.2% of girls passed in the supplementary exams and 26.31% of boys passed this year. Science too had higher pass percentage–32.22 percent than arts and commerce.
